Anticipation is in
the air. You settle into your seat at the enormous table (a
teppanyaki grill), and suddenly he appears, a man dressed like a chef,
flaunting the air of a samurai. He
bows. Just to be on the safe side, you bow back.
He whisks a Japanese steak knife from its holster and offers a friendly
smile. Suddenly. . . he fans rows of fresh whole shrimp onto the
steaming table.
Zip, Zip, Zip. . .His knife
flashes through the rows like lightning. The shrimp dance to the
center of the grill, and he presses on. With magnificent, sweeping
gestures he adds freshly ground pepper, then butter, then soy sauce.
The action never stops. He playfully spins around and flips a
sizzling shrimp directly onto your plate. You taste it. You sigh.
And that's only Act One!

From Downtown
using Mopac: Go North to US 183 and head South one block to Burnet
Road. Turn right on Burnet and Benihana will be on your right.
From Downtown using IH-35: Head North to US 183 North.
Take the Burnet Road exit and turn left on Burnet. Benihana will be
on your right.
