About La Taverna Austin
The first restaurant to open in Austin's new 2nd Street District (underneath the AMLI building on 2nd and Lavaca), La Taverna has a way of pulling you in off the street!   But it's not just a neighborhood restaurant for AMLI residents, the quaint atmosphere and selection of Italian dishes is enough to keep anybody coming back.  This downtown Italian restaurant features a comfortable patio for sunny days and a cozy interior to escape the drizzle.

Directions to La Taverna Austin:  La Taverna is located in downtown Austin in the 2nd Street District on the corner of 2nd Street and Lavaca.  Paid parking is available in the AMLI building

From IH-35:  Head towards downtown and take the Cesar Chavez exit and turn right.  Turn right on Congress Avenue and left on 2nd Street.  La Taverna will be on the right when you reach La Vaca. 

From MOPAC (Loop 1):  Head towards downtown and take the 1st Street exit.  Turn left on Lavaca and we'll be on your right.
