About Taj Palace Austin
At Taj Palace Restaurant you'll feel as if you've stepped out of Austin and into the Far East. Our succulently spiced meats are cooked to perfection on skewers in our
tandoor, a charcoal-based clay oven. Take a break from the usual for lunch or dinner today. We are sure to become one of your favorites.
Hours We are open Sunday through Thursday for lunch for 11am - 2pm and dinner at 5:30 until 10:00. On Friday and Saturday we open for an extra 30 minutes for both
lunch and dinner.

We offer a lunch buffet daily and a dinner buffet on Monday nights. Our buffets offer over 20 items to
choose from...featuring soups, salads, barbecued and curried meats, vegetables, rice, breads and desserts. Enjoy a quick lunch with a variety of choices or bring the

Samose - Triangular pies stuffed with potatoes and peas, delicately tempered

Directions to Taj Palace Austin: Taj Palace is located
approximately one mile south of Hwy 183 and just south of St. Johns, on the west side of IH-35.
From Mopac: Take US 183 Southbound to IH-35 and go South on IH-35, Do not get on IH-35, but stay on the service road and go past St. Johns
Street. Taj Palace is one block south of St. Johns on the right, next to the General Cinema.
From IH-35: Southbound: Exit at 183 and follow the service road past St. Johns and Taj Palace will be on your right, next to General
Cinema.
From IH-35: Northbound: Exit St. John's Avenue (# 239).
Make a U-Turn at St. Johns, go one block and Taj Palace is on the right, next to General Cinema.
