Learn to Row at Austin Rowing Dock on Town LakeAustin Rowing Dock is the best place to learn to row in Austin. Our lessons are designed to teach you the basics so that you can continue to row for years whether you choose to compete or to recreate. Beginner rowers will be shown the basics of rowing by utilizing "land equipment" such as rowing machines and dock trainers. Next, it is time for rowers to get into an actual scull and apply all of the skills they have learned. Our coaches don’t just tell you the basic technique and send you off while they stay on the dock—they will be with you on Town Lake throughout all your lessons.
