About Barton Springs Pool Austin, Texas
Within
Zilker Park's 358 acres, lies one of the crown jewels of Austin,
Barton Springs Pool. Three acres in size, the pool is fed from
under ground springs and is on average 68 degrees year round.
It is also fed by Austin's Barton Creek Greenbelt and eventually
flows into Lady Bird Lake. Over the years, Barton Springs Pool has drawn people from all
walks of life, from legislators who have concocted state laws
there to free-spirited topless sunbathers who turned heads in
the seventies. Today, Barton Springs still attracts a diverse
crowd of people and is known as the number one swimming spot in
Austin, TX.
Barton Springs Pool Parking Info & Prices
Barton Springs Pool has two main parking areas. The area
off Robert E Lee is free, but frequently full during summer
months. The area inside Zilker Park costs $3 to park from
March - September. Barton Springs Pool adults tickets are $3.00,
juniors are $2.00 and children/senriors are $1.00

to Barton Springs Pool. They ride on trails and sidewalks with a fleet of Torker
T-300 bicycles complete with urban cycling gear that have plenty
of cargo space for your towels, suncreen and other
belongings. Their

showing you how easy and fun it can be to experience Austin on a bicycle.
