Capital Cruises Austin is home of the Largest Electric Paddle Wheel Boat in the Country and the famous Sunset Bat Watching tours. They offer lunch and dinner cruises, sightseeing tours, party boat services, and boat rentals. It's a great idea for group and corporate events, but for for couples, families and anybody looking to see downtown Austin from a boat. Their boat dock is open from 9am to dusk on weekends and 10:00am to dusk during the week from March until October. You'll also find them open November through February when the weather permits.
Capital Cruises Lady Bird Lake Tours
Bat Watching Tours (available March - October) Capital Cruises bat watching tours are world renowned. The Congress Avenue Bridge is the home of the largest urban bat colony in North America. Capital Cruises tours provide the best possible viewing for one of the most incredible wildlife spectacles in the world! Bat viewing is available on a public tour and prices are $13 per adult, $10 per senior, and $8 per child for kids 3 to 12. Public Sightseeing Cruise (available March - October) Capital Cruises also provides a unique glimpse of Lady Bird Lake with a public sightseeing cruise departing Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 p.m. See an incredible variety of flora, fauna and the dramatic landscapes inspired by Lady Bird Johnson with some of Austin's best photo opportunities with a burgeoning skyline in the background. Prices are the same as the bat watching tour above.
Lady Bird Lake Dinner Tours Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner cruise for two on a private "gondola-like" electric launch or a group dinner cruise for your office, family or friends, Capital Cruises has a great selection of boats and dinner options to suit your wishes and your budget. Catering is provided by the Hyatt and includes the Hyatt's famous fajitas, Barbecue, Grilled Chicken Pasta and Shrimp Pasta or they can customize an event for nearly any group size and budget. Beverage service, snacks, entertainment, team building and more are also available. Rates will vary from $27.99 to $80.99 per person depending on options selected.
