I was recently invited to Purr-fecto Cat Lounge, Austin’s first cat lounge experience, and it was the cat’s meow (There’s going to be a few cat puns in this piece)!  Their grand opening is July 20, 2022, but I got a sneak peak of this business as well as some first cuddles with the kitties there.  This is a place truly like none other in Austin.  The cats are fostered through The Sunshine Fund and Fuzzy Texan.  And yes, that DOES mean if you fall in love with one or more of the cats there, you can adopt them!

You know you said "Awww" when you saw this!

The Cat Rangers at Purr-fecto give you a chance to really get to know the cats that are available for adoption.  You can actually play with the cats (they have SO many cat toys!) in a relaxed environment where the cats can show off the best and most adorable parts of their personalities.

Whether you’re looking for a playful kitten or a more reserved senior cat, the Cat Rangers there can introduce you to your new furry family member!  By fostering these kitties with the goal of finding them “fur-ever” homes, Purr-fecto Cat Lounge is helping to reduce euthanasia at animal shelters as well as helping to prevent overcrowding in area animal rescue facilities.

Just LOOK at that little face!

You can book a 30 minute ($15) or a 70 minute ($30) CATX-PERIENCE through Purr-fecto’s website.  This spot is family friendly and would be a great spot for birthday parties for kids (or a grown woman like me)!

While you’re falling head over paws in love with your newest family member, grab a drink from Irie Bean Coffee offered inside.  Next time I go, I’m definitely trying The Cat’s Pajamas (Caramel-Vanilla Latte).

Plan your visit and find your new fur baby!
