Beer makes it better; The slogan of Austin Beer Garden and Brewery. Well... I can't argue with that logic. After spending a Saturday night at ABGB I doubt you could either. Good beer, good food, and good music. What more could you ask for? Maybe a dog friendly patio with a killer vibe? They got that too and its shaded by large oak trees with murals and lights that bring the whole place to life. If the weather is nice then you better grab a spot early because its sure to fill up. If it does, no worries. Just grab a seat inside and enjoy the live music. They typically have a band or musician of some kind at least 3 days a week, checkoutAustin Beer Garden and Brewery's live music schedule here.
What About The Beer?
From hoppy IPAs to light crisp pilsners, the ABGB just about has it all. Six beers are always on tap, and they have others rotating in and out. View the current beer lineup at ABGB here. If you've read any of my other articles, you probably know I usually go for an IPA and a hazy one at that. Surprisingly when I'm at ABGB I always grab the Rocket 100, which is considered a pre-prohibition pilsner. Just trust me, grab a pitcher with your group on a Saturday night and it's sure to make everybody happy. Honestly, any beer you get here is sure to impress and the same goes for the pizza. At $4 a slice its a bit pricey but this isn't just some microwave pizza. It's fresh, cheesy, and sure to have you coming back for more, just like my Austin City Guide Reviews.
Thats every beer they had on tap that night
