Lustre Pearl South is the newest cousin of the original Rainey Street bar. Located off Manchaca, just south of Slaughter, it is one of the biggest hits in the fast growing Way South Austin nightlife scene. All the good vibes of the Rainey and Eastside locations, but in an even bigger package.
Hip but Clean, Energetic yet Cozy
It may be hard to believe you can visit a Lustre Pearl that's within 15 minutes of just about anywhere in south Austin, but being close to home isn't the only perk of this new location. Not being downtown means more space, and more space means more parking. Finally you no longer have to worry about scavenging the streets for parking, just to end up over paying for a spot. At first glance, you'll notice the large lit up patio with good music that won't leave you screaming to hold a conversation. Heading inside, you'll find two fully stocked bars, and don't worry, you can carry a tab at both. Whether you're after a craft beer, fancy cocktail, or neat pour of whisk(e)y, the Pearl is sure to have you covered.
Get Your Disco On
More Than Just Drinks
If you're after more than just a good drink, head out to the patio which has two sets of corn hole, ping pong, an array of food trucks, all along with plenty of seating under beautiful bright lights. Seriously, this (dog friendly) patio is a vibe in itself. Theres no better way to work up an appetite than battling it out in an intense game of corn hole. When this inevitably happens checkout one of the food trucks, maybe even make the loser pay for dinner. Typically you'll have a choice between Wunder Pig (bbq), Gobble Gobble (burgers, sandwiches, salads), and Matador (latin). All three have amazing food and we recommend you try them all.
The Cluck Cluck from Gobble Gobble with a Twisted Hazy Ipa and Fried Brussel Sprouts
With good drinks, good food, and good vibes, its hard to think of a way to go wrong by choosing Lustre Pearl South the next time you go out.
