Krause Springs & Deep Eddy Pool
Head to Krause Springs & Deep Eddy Pool to take it easy!


If camping and swimming in a natural pool that looks like it’s right out of The Shire is how you want to spend a day (or two, or three...), pack up your gear and head to Krause Springs.  Take the gorgeous drive from Austin to Spicewood and prepare for this 115 acre family owned spot to show you why its one of the most sought after swimming holes in Texas. 

You can swim the day away or come to camp!  Krause Springs offers 24 RV camping spots as well as numerous primitive camping spots.  When you’re not swimming or toasting marshmallows by your campfire, take a stroll through the Butterfly Garden next to the check-in area.

Kayaking and paddle boarding is one of the top things people love to do at Lake Travis.  Our favorite spot is Austin Pedal Kayaks.  Located off of Graveyard Point in a no-wake zone of Lake Travis, you’ll find plenty of water to cruise at ease. 

Pick from one of their 5 you-powered water crafts, throw on some sunscreen, and get ready for some fun on the water!
