Last updated on Jul 01, 2022 by Jane Mesa
Who doesn't love a good selfie?? Austin has some of the best spots to capture your next favorite picture of yourself.
Here's some of our favorite spots to flex our inner photographer in the ATX:
Texas Selfie Museum
503 Neches Street
One could easily consider the Texas Selfie Museum to be Austin’s "Garden of Instagram”. This space has 35 installation spaces across 2 floors with all the props, lighting, and backdrops to take some awesome selfies! Photo assistants are also available to help you capture your best angles.

“You’re My Better Half”
2000 East Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard
This iconic Austin mural is located on the side of United Way of Greater Austin. Don't worry though, they love the visitors snapping pics! There's even a phone holder set up the perfect distance from the mural to help take the guess work out of it.
“Hi! How Are You?”
2100 Guadalupe Street
Located off of University of Texas's Drag on Guadalupe, this beloved image reminds Austinites of simpler times and visitors of our quirky past.
This mural was created by Austin's very own Daniel Johnston in 1993.
“I Love You So Much”
Jo’s Coffee
1300 South Congress Avenue
Who doesn't enjoy a good love story? The famous "I Love You So Much!" was spray-painted on the side of the building by Amy Cook for her girlfriend Liz Lambert (the owner of Jo's Coffee).
Now, couples and families travel from all over the world travel to Austin and make a selfie at Jo's Coffee (and hopefully and Iced Turbo too!).
“Greetings from Austin” & “You Belong Among The Wildflowers”
Roadhouse Relics Neon Art
1720 S. 1st Street
The intersection of S 1st & Annie Street gives you a "selfie two-for-one"! The "Greetings from Austin" mural is on the side of Roadhouse Relics, a contemporary neon art gallery that you have to check out as well. Just across the street from the postcard inspired mural is "You Belong Among The Wildflowers", a mural inspired by the Tom Petty song "Wildflowers".
Peter Pan Mini Golf
1207 Barton Springs Road
Picture it: You and your friends spending an afternoon playing mini-golf and taking some amazing pictures alongside a T-Rex!
Since 1948, Peter Pan Mini Golf has been a great place for locals and visitors to have fun, enjoy a round on the tiny links, and take in the outlandish sculptures that adorn the course.
"You Are Awesome"
The Renner Project
3018 North Lamar
This selfie spot is cute art, an uplifting message, and a beautiful shop to pick up some beautiful decor for your home from The Renner Project.
I'm absolutely obsessed with the little raccoons, especially the one wearing the crown!
