Loretta is a born ‘n’ raised Austinite “Unicorn”. She grew up loving theatre, choir, dance, and all things creative. Studying first at McCallum Fine Arts Academy (GO KNIGHTS!) and continuing through college at Rutgers University in New Jersey (GO KNIGHTS!), graduating with a BA in Theatre and double minor in Business and Leadership. Loretta is a try everything once type gal. Currently working as a tour guide for Haunted ATX and always ready to learn something new. She is thrilled to begin her journey with Austin City Guide. Although she loves the North East, Colorado, and traveling abroad, her passion for ATX keeps pulling her back. Loretta loves to go outdoors for hiking, biking, and soaking in the sun. She can also be found curled up at home watching TV with a hot cup of coffee. When she gets a creative kick she loves to sew, fix things, make arts and crafts, and play dress-up. If you’re hosting a costume or theme party she will be there with bells on. She’s still dancing and singing as well! You’ll find her most weekends (and weekdays too if she’s honest) at the best bars and clubs around Austin. Her favorite activity is running into people she knows downtown. She loves how Petula Clark puts it: “So, maybe I'll see you there. We can forget all our troubles, forget all our cares, and go Downtown”. So, she’ll see all y’all out there.
